View Dates & BookMoreton-in-Marsh is a pretty market town in the north Gloucestershire Cotswolds, which has been welcoming travellers for over 1700 years. The chocolate box houses here are built mainly of the honey-coloured stone quarried from the local area. The Tuesday market, and the largest market in the Cotswolds, which was granted its first market charter in 1227 is still in operation today.
In the afternoon we head over to take a trip on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway which operates steam and heritage trains through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Cotswolds, with the line commanding wonderful views of the nearby sleepy hamlets and villages with outstanding views of the Malvern Hills and beyond.
