View Dates & BookIghtham Mote is a National Trust medieval moated manor house set in a beautiful valley in the Kent countryside.
Dating from around 1320, the building was described by historians as ‘the most complete small medieval manor house in the country’. The house comes full of interesting stories and is nestled within gardens surrounded by natural springs and running water.
At first glance, Sevenoaks High Street looks straightforward, with shops and cafés clamouring for your attention on either side of the wide road. But look a little closer and you’ll find a tangle of quaint, shop-filled alleyways in the triangle between the High Street, London Road and Bligh’s Meadow pedestrianised shopping centre.
Veer off onto The Shambles, Dorset Street, Bank Street or Brewery Lane to discover a jumble of art shops, flower shops, carefully curated clothes boutiques, jewellers, cafés and hidden restaurants with outdoor seating.
