NEW FOREST SCENIC TOUR

A scenic tour through one of the prettiest areas of the UK

View Dates & Book

Our first stop is in Lyndhurst, known as the capital of the New Forest since William the Conqueror established it as a royal hunting ground in 1079. Along the High Street, you will find a variety of independent shops. From boutique clothes shops, homeware and gifts, to a fantastic sustainable shop, The Yew Tree, a camping shop, Leisure Fayre, and numerous other charity and antiques shops.

We continue our journey with a drive through Brockenhurst, a bustling village and a jewel in the New Forest's crown, where thatched cottages mingle with the traditional red brick architecture so typical of the area. It has been named as England's most beautiful village. Here you will find ponies and donkeys roaming free in an old world setting full of charm.

We leave Brockenhurst for a scenic drive through Beaulieu, past the Mill Dam. Bordered on one side by Palace House and its grounds, on another by cottages and elsewhere by reeds and open shores, the dam forms a picturesque part of the village's impressive landscape and is a haven for wildlife.

Our final destination is the village of Burley; a location surrounded by glorious open heathland and wildlife with a history of witches and smugglers! The village is a fascinating place, and still practices the thousand-year-old New Forest tradition of “commoning” – whereby ponies and cattle freely roam around the village. This has even led Burley Fire Station to insert a cattle grid at its entrance, ensuring no uninvited guests are getting in the way of the fire-fighters!
